I am a new member to GMCnet, and I have a little problem. A truck got in my
way and wasted my forward A&E TravelAWN 5000 support arm on my 74 Glacier.
Dometic sells replacement parts for this, but they are slightly different
and most of them are painted. To maintain resale value I thought buying
both would be a good choice. Then I was told this would cost nearly $800.00
and would not be available until August. Too much money and too much time
caused me to cancel the order.
Does anyone out there know of a used. but functional replacement for this
at a reasonable price?
Also, I have been told that there is a difference between the front and
back arms. I cannot see any difference. Can someone fill in my blanks?
All help would be appreciated.
