For those who have removed the onan, what was the preferred method?

I see that you can basically install and eye bolt, and lift it up with a cherry picker. Looks like Jim Bounds lifts them from the bottom with a scissor lift thing:

I also wondered if a ATV/motorcycle jack would work.


what is easier? Any other pointers?

I am pulling it to clean up the compartment, fix the 110v power(hoping for bad connector or bridge rectifier). I have access to a cherry picker, and I think I can get a scissor table like jim is using.
