As I am always looking for a deal on what seem to be reliable parts, I have come across this
from one of the dealers that I frequent.

These are float switches for liquid, in our case potable water.

Plastic material
Does anyone know the type of plastic the float and body is made of? PVDF, PVC, ?
Control Engineer

Great little float switch
The float is held on by a plastic C clamp which can be removed, the float reduced and it will change from Normally Open to Normally Closed and vice versa.

If you are trying to restore the operation of the OEM level guage, you can add a resistor to each level (size to be determined) and when the level switch closes, the level would indicate on the meter. Or you can run to LEDs to indicate level.
Simple design and if you want fast access, you may install a top access in the tank and install these on some pvc. Just ideas.

Check it out.....

thx
