With the possible demise of my beloved Onan 6Kw, I was looking around the net for possible replacements. I know JimB has looked at a number of current options, but I don't think he found an inverter model capable of starting a A/C that would fit in the Onan hole.

This one claims a starting power of 4500 watts with a continuous power of 3700 watts. Looking at the service manual it would seem that taking it apart and removing the fuel tank it should fit into the existing hole in my 26ft xPB.

Just wondering if anyone has used this model, or came across an inverter type that will fit in our generator space and has the power to start a single A/C.

Thanks
