I've never seen this happen to the Onan 110 volt generator brushes. Maybe the Onan was operated while driving on a lot of gravel roads. Iinteresting. Bob Dunahugh

Bob,
I ordered this from Ebay (search for item 310760400781 on ebay). It has 6 brush mounts and 12 brushes, enough to do 3 generators for $35.00. The connection appears to be a bolt type instead of a 1/4" quick connect so you may need a small terminal block.

As for the slip rings, maybe Jim Miller can help?
