Hey All;

Is there a set of photos or a video showing how to install Emory's
Kitchen Hood Vent? I think I have it put together correctly but I'm not
sure it is opening up enough. Thanks.

Gary, mine only opens about an inch, and is working at the limit of the
solenoid used to open it. But in looking at it just now, I realize that the
fan motor is so bound up that it is drawing a lot of current and needs
attention. It's always something!

I haven't hooked everything up and tested it as yet, but right now it looks
like it's only going to open about 1/2". I talked with Gene Fisher and he
said his opens a couple of inches. I know that Manny has one and I'm going
to ask him about how far his opens. Thanks for the info.

Gary, Our vent opens 1" measuring at the bottom of the door. Works good for us and no rain in.

Hey Jim;

Yep, mine is actually more like an inch. It sticks while opening it but
closes beautifully. I'm still working on it. No more bird nests in my fan...
