I didn't like having the water heater hoses laying on the valve covers, and intake manifold. Vibration, heat, and just in the way. Made no sense to me for being there. So I routed them around the engine. Then hung them from the underside of the floor with rubber covered steel straps. Sure cleaned up that area for service. And safer as to potential leaks.
