Better subject line now. Cooling inside cool air will help over cooling outside hot air. When the engine is not running. Or if there's a vacuum problem in the A/C heater. The inside/outside door is in the outside air position. Pointing down. To see the door in this position. You must remove the blower motor. Or you can feel the doors position at the outside air intake. Top front of the heater box on the passenger side. At a 45 degree angle to the rear. My door got stuck in the inside air position. I made an air tight cover over the outside air intake. This info is based on the 77 to 78. I think the 75 to 76 are the same. Don't know for the 73 to 74. Can someone clarify this?
