You have a good list. Timing change is HUGE to me. Seen too many good engines destroyed over that one. As to the stock fuel pump. If it fails by not pumping. Not a big deal. It's when it fails by pumping gas into the engine crankcase. And that. You'll never know till it's too late. Installing the Howell/GM EFI. That solves several issues at one time. Fuel pump, knock sensor, oxg sensor, and spark control. Bob Dunahugh 78 Royale.
