Just bought my 2001 tracker/vitara and ordered a new soft top then come to find out that 4 of the 5 plastic pieces that secure the rear canvas in place are broke to the point it has screws in several locations. Then the kicker was that I found out these parts are made of class 3 unobtanium. Can find no aftermarket source and the used ones I have found are in broke too and they are being priced higher than gold if you go by weight. Any one know of source or have some leftover after converting to hard top. I have also posted this on the swap meet area. I believe 99-03 are the same. Thanks.

There are also “builder bars” in some cities that may be able to help you recreate them in 3D printing. Run off 5 sets, sell 4 and get yours for free!

Actually thought about that but some are 3 ft long and a lot of pressure on them.

Thought possibly about heating up PVC pipe or gutter or something that will hold shape when cooled down and proven strong and out live me, can't heat it to much with torch or it wouldn't take long to outlive me. I do have a pvc pipe heater. I guess I'm just getting lazy in my old age.

Look up all the plastic stock available at McMaster-Carr. Something there may jump out at you. They have lots of shapes and types,
