The PO or the one before him lived on a bumpy road best I can tell. Both my rear shock absorber mounts are cracked in half. This is the mount which is bolted to the frame rail on each side that secures the bottom of the shock absorber. Does anyone close have a pair, or a parts coach or frame they're still on? Billy thinks he has a pair, but if there's a set closer to Atlanta... Or somebody going to Bean Station has a pair they could bring and save me the shipping, please to let me know.

Thanks,

--johnny

Wasn't there an issue with Bilstein (?) shocks that would break the mount?

No, the bilsteins usually break the shock eyes off the top of the shock. I
think the lower frame mounts fail because the incorrect shocks were fitted.
The coach shocks are unique, they work up side down. If conventional delco
or other brands are fitted, ride is affected, as well as control.
Personally, I prefer to use KYB, mostly because of the warranty. Never had
a problem getting one replaced, and very few failures. Seen a lot of
bilsteins failed. Your experiences might differ.
