I discovered a cracked manifold (left) on my 455. My thoughts were to try to find an original and have it re-surfaced. Does anyone have one they want to sell or have any other suggestions?

Cinnabar has new reproductions. Better than welding cast and then doing it again.

Ken,

I assume that when you say left side you mean driver side; if I am correct here's one for a Toronado on eBay:

Here's photos of the correct OEM manifolds for a 455:

My manifold is stamped with a J and number is 407108 LH.
Yes, the driver side.

Do you know if this manifold will work?

Ken,

Look at this photo:

http://www.gmcmhphotos.com/photos/oem-exhaust-manifolds/p59709-gmc-ex-081.html

Note that it too is marked with a J but the part number is 407103 LH. Are you SURE yours is 407108 LH.

I provided the photos so you could compare the two manifolds and decide for yourself if they would work.

That was because I was not going to tell you it would work and you order it and it not fit.

Call Cinnabar (800) 720-2227 and ask how much they want for a replacement then you can decide if you want gamble on the one on eBay
working.

Good luck.

Rob M.
