I never attached my scoop to the grill. It just sets nicely at the left side. As far left as I could get it. The 4" duct that goes to my very large Donaldson air filter. That holds the scoop in place. Then I have another 4" duct that goes from the Donaldson filter to the EFI. I like this filter setup very much. As I get that cooler air all the way to my EFI by way of all 4" duct work. I sell a modified Donald air filter in a kit for GMC's. The filter element is 11" long, and 7" in diameter.
