I do not understand. I thought all Canadians, except maybe V. Island, BC, went south for the winter. Is there that much snow and ice in Florida and Arizona to run that race?
I sat down for dinner in a restaurant in AZ a couple of years back and ran into a GMCer from Alberta. He, like most Canadians, spends all winter there.
I guess a few Canadians have to stay home to watch the store to keep the Americans from invading in their absence.

We gave up that idea in 1812. Better to have Canadians as allies. I have a
lot of good friends in Western Canada. A couple in the Eastern Island
Provinces. Quebec? Not so much.

I went south in November and came back in late January this year...it's
50*F here this morning and raining. Winter may have been cancelled here
this year..we'll see!
