It's been almost 2 and a half years since our first 78 Royale burned up at a road race track event in Hastings Nebraska. Aug 28th of 2015. Went outside this morning to be met with the smell of smoke from a neighbors fire place. In almost an instant. I looked at our shop that our second 78 Royale is parked in. We loved that GMC. And all the memories of the caring people we've met at all the GMCMI rallies that we've been to since 2003. The 42 states it took us to with no real problems. An alternator belt Missouri once, and the float in the carburetor in Nevada was it for on the road repairs. The miles/people well stay. The smell may just end up staying too. Bob Dunahugh
