G'day,
John found a PD 9640 located right where GMC put the Buzz Box; above the furnace behind the oven.
Since it's a PD it's quiet so no buzzzzzzziiiiiiinnnnnggggg to hear!
Appreciate the on and off net replies.
Regards,

Location of "buzz boxes" varies. Some are here, some are there. Coachman
placed them somewhere in the rear of the coach, and other up fitters placed
them behind the oven and above the furnace in an almost inaccessible
location. Some in the lavatory sink undercabinet. Also no fun to service.
My Royale was located in the bottom of a night stand between the rear
gaucho beds. You had to get on your knees, and use a portable light source
to service the buzz box or the 12 volt or 120 volt breakers or fuses. On
the Coachman system, you had to operate a toggle breaker to switch between
shore power and generator power. I modified that deal with a timed delay 50
amp automatic transfer switch. Now, if you want to operate the generator,
you just start it up, and wait until the time delay relay closes, and you
are good to go. No more kneeling at the electrical altar and flipping
toggle breakers.
I would plug your coach into shore power, go quietly into the coach, and
listen for the buzz box to tell me where it is hiding. Likely as not, you
will be removing sinks or stoves/ovens to remove it.

I think they just misplaced it somewhere.
Around here when Lauire misplaces something, I usually find it in the
refrigerator.
If I misplace it, it might not be found for years.
