I can't imagine a winch for pulling a GMC out of a bog. GMC's do indeed get
stuck pretty easily, but winching isn't a good way to deal with it. For one
thing, you have to have something to attach the winch cable to, and that
isn't common.

Perhaps a better solution is to tow a 4WD vehicle. Yes, I have seen GMC's
extract themselves from mud with the help of a 4WD towd pushing from the
back. It's at least enough to counteract the weight transfer that causes
the front wheels to become unloaded in the first place.

There have also been some limited-slip differential modifications here and
there.

For me, prevention is better than the cure.
