Mike,
Simple, Americans and wanna be Australians have enough grey matter to handle the multiple conversations; people that live in New
Scotland have problems obviously!

Wow Mike,
That is an easy one.
As the forum is a adjunct to the original mailing list, there are some issues. One of them is that if an e-mail user does not reply directly, then the code package assumes it is a new topic, and it is posted as such. Some people do read this as email, and if they have a properly configured mail client, it will put all of the identical topics in the same thread. When I go back to read this all in the digest that I use, they will all be grouped together. The problem is that they will be sorted by time, so if a reply does not quote the message it is replying to, there may be no chance to effectively interpret that response. This is why I run both.

Broken, non standards compliant email clients. JWZ has some nice rants on
the subject, he was the lead for the Netscape mail and news clients
versions 1-3 here he is on threading https://www.jwz.org/doc/threading.html
which is where our problem lies.

First. Install a 3:70 FD. I never have the trans shift down by the throttle. If I'm on a long climb. I shift manually. Then have a contest with myself as to how many cars can I have pass me before I crest the hill. Drive 55 to 60. Then enjoy the view. Use cruise on the flats. As to Jim K. YES. Average 5 tanks. Fill your tanks with the front higher then the back. Treat your engine to an EFI. For me. I don't really care anymore as to mileage. I'm on a mission to just enjoy beautiful North America.
