This setup works like the OEM, but has less seal to leak through and lends itself to electronic engagement/disengagement. The trick to it is the machined adaptor to allow it to bolt to our water pump. It's built to a Mercedes spec which makes us think it will last.

That's the beauty of this setup --- it's electro-viscous, so takes very little power to engage the clutch,
and acts just like the oem clutch when not engaged.
It basically replaces the little thermostat coil with computer or sensor or manual control.
