We returned today from Noccalula Falls, AL, with 437 miles on the new Final
Drive. Everything worked as expected -- without a hitch. The FD
temperature may be running slightly higher than I'm accustomed to -- or
not. The difference may be closer attention and anxiety. Like the
transmission, the FD temp runs 'way behind the engine temperature, but
eventually -- perhaps as long as 8 hours -- they all synchronize pretty
close to the engine's 190*F-200*F.
