Dan Wallace had reported an oil pan leak.
Way back in 2002 Lawrence Gaskins had posted this:
"I have had the same leak at front lip of oil pan.For some reason this is an area that leaks engine oil.The crankshaft seal above does a good job but not the pan lip.
Removed the front motor support - time 5 1/2 hours of hard labor.
Cleaned area with lacquer thinner.Sprayed several coats of NAPA #82096 Leak Repair above the leak. The clear liquid flowed down over the oil pan lip. Drying time between coats and after overnight sprayed more coats before reassembling parts.
Drove a few miles to warm up engine 195 deg and let set overnight to let leak repair cure.
Have 3 hours driving time on engine now and the seal looks promising.”
He later reported that months later the leak was still sealed.
Dan, you might want to try it.
