The folks who purchased our Clasco are on their way to Denver and then will take it back to Alaska where they live and have encountered a problem about 40 miles from Pueblo, CO. A week or so ago they picked the Clasco up in Las Vegas where we left it with a friend of theirs in March. They then drove it to Disneyland in blistering hot weather. A couple of days ago they left the LA area headed for Denver. Said they drove nearly 750 miles on one day! This afternoon they stopped for fuel and the engine would not restart. The Clasco is a relatively new S&J 455 with FiTech EFI that always worked perfectly for us and apparently for them as well for about 1500 miles until this event today. He said they had proper fuel pressure on both the low pressure and high pressure side on the gauges on top of the FiTech Fuel Management System. On the phone I walked them through also changing the module in the HEI distributor but that apparently did not solve the issue.

Is there anyone in that vicinity that could lend a hand? They have two granddaughters with them ages 8 and 9 so this has to be a nerve wracking adventure for them all. Their names are Colleen and Mike Alred, 907-two nine nine-0793. Thanks!

They should indroduce a small amount of fuel into the throttle body to see if it kicks. That will let them know it is a fuel delivery or ign issue.
