Just ordered a new OEM door seal from Jim K but I'm not sure what the correct/best adhesive to use to install it. Anyone replaced this recently and what kind of adhesive did you use?
Thanks,
Rick

3M weatherstrip adhesive. Actually contact cement in a tube. Yellow or black, mechanics call the yellow variety "monkey snot". Also available in a can, but is labeled contact cement or floor adhesive, instructions will say that you apply to both pieces and let it flash off the solvent on the surface before you put them together in the right place the first time. Because there are no do-overs or mulligans when messing with contact cement.

Rick. I did mine a few months ago. 3M Black Super Weather strip And Gasket Adhesive ( Black ) Number 08008. VERY sticky. The door seal is made to be short by about 2". Do about 12" at a time. As it dries fast. Leaving in the AM for Elko New Market MN for our 50th anniversary on June 3rd. So I'll be in your area till the Greater Midwest Classics Rally the fallowing weekend about an hour South. My cell is 319-521-4691 if you have feather questions. Bob Dunahugh 78 Royale Mouse House

Anniversaries? I once worked with a guy that was married 5 times. Three of those times were to the same woman. I often wondered if they celebrated there anniversaries by adding the three times together or only counted the last one. Maybe they celebrated three anniversaries per year. I never asked.

I remember years ago celebrating our 35th in Quartzsite when a friend piped up and told us he was also celebrating 35 years of marriage-of course according to him it had taken three different wives to reach that milestone. Of course my wife was aghast at that. Laughing

Happy Anniversary Bob and Linda and other June couples.!

At our 50th anniversary celebration in 2009, I asked everyone to write the
number of years they had been married on their name tag.

One fine old Battle of the Bulge survivor wrote the number for all three of
his previous marriages plus his current one--totaled more than 60 then.

My wife Judy's parents are celebrating their 78th anniversary this
Saturday. He is 99, she is 97. Still live independently, still drive as a
team. He is a WW2 and Korean Vet. Survived the ChoSin reservoir. Marine
