We're all here in the GMC CULT. That IS a given. And the members of GMCMI at the rallies that Linda, and I have met. Their back grounds are so divers. It might be interesting, and a great way to find out how many here have interest that match. If after our names. We listed our club affiliations all the time, and at times include our hobbies. Dogs, dogs, dogs. Also old cars/GMCs and electronics. Many years playing with high powered RF systems both as a FANG in Gods Great Air Farce and with a handful of broadcast outfits. Showing dogs when I have a prospect and co-breeding occasionally for the last 25 years or so. I work the shows as a Ring Steward to (hopefully) cover the gas cost for the GMC. Appro pos of which I'm gonna have to miss the Dixielanders' Noccalula rally because we added the Greenville SC shows the same weekend. Me and the GMC will be happily ensconced at Table Rock State Park just North of Greenville 26 - 30 June.
Currently one Kuvasz boy and two Border Collie girls.

Division III collegiate football (and other sports, I went to a DIII school), and amateur, and I mean amateur, custom furniture. I build stuff for our house, tables, benches, bunk beds, etc, usually out of basic lumber with a lot of finish work. Rally and obedience training for our mutt. Otherwise, I have the GMC and 3 kids under 8, who are all into Taekwondo. Time is at a premium around my house.

Amateur radio - Emergency operations - 'the last mile'. GMC was excellent during the aftermath of many hurricanes. None in the past 13 years or so. Mobile 6 Kw makes lots of difference. Nice to have A/C and frig.

Don't know if I qualify. Most of my sunsets are behind me. Retired
Vocational Instructor since 1996. Power Mechanics. Anything not in a car.
Outboards, Inboards, Agricultural, Landscape, Hydraulics, Gasoline, Diesel,
L.P. fueled, Both engines and power transmission systems.
Hobbies, hot rods, GMC Motorhomes, R.C. Model Aircraft, fishing, hunting,

Still find time to build tools for GMCS, including Wireless Remote Air
Systems, Pressure bleeder for brakes, Torsion Bar Unloader. Also work on
GMC Motorhomes, Current President of GMC CASCADERS, Regional Rep to FMCA,
member of GMCWS, GMC 49ERS, and GMCMI. Probably left out some stuff.

Obviously a good number of gmc owners are classic/collector car people. It is also amazing to see common interests and themes in the community.
As for my hobbies, I am father of an 9 and 10 year old and try to spend time with them in the gmc. Hobbies have changed alot in the past 10 years, setting aside motor cycling(bmw and my old 71 honda 350)) and snowmobiling when the kids were born. I used to do some off roading and have owned quite a few jeeps of every variety, and I was also going for my pilots liscense at some point, all of witch I hope to get back to at some point in life. I even used to hold an amateur radio liscense, but forgot the radio stuff liong long ago.
Currently I have always been an avid water-sports parttaker, and currently own a 1984 mastercraft stars and stripes boat. I have had many air cooled vw's in my life and currently have a woods-off road vw rail car, and I am trying to find time to resurrect my lifetime dream car of a 73 vw thing to use as a Towd. I consiter myself as active as a member can be of
Gmcmi, and our more local greater midwest classics gmc club. I am also a member of a few other organizations, but am not active at all in other clubs.

I still work. I am a general contractor (residential and commercial construction) and my wife, Kathy, is an Occupational Therapist. But...we still make GMCing a priority, and try to get out once a month for at least a weekend, with a couple of week to ten day trips per year. We are working toward retirement in, hopefully, a few years. We are currently members of GMCMI, and GMCSJ, and have been members of GMCWS on occasion (probably will rejoin after retirement).
Although I spend most of my energy on the GMC these days, other activities/interests include a lifelong interest in Jeeps and off roading. I have owned and modified/driven a 1953 Willy's CJ-3B since I was 14 years old, and also currently have an '87 Cherokee and an '89 Comanche. I like to hike and take pictures, although I do not consider myself a photographer, the two go hand in hand. I have four adult kids and currently four grandchildren whom I enjoy visiting with, and hope to be able to take on motorhome trips someday.
I am a Christian, and a political conservative.

I'm into too many things to keep up with any of them very well. As usual.
In addition to working as a government highway engineer (which includes
very frequent travel--I had 40 trips last year), my hobbies include music
(I play tuba in the Loudoun Symphonic Winds and the Loudoun Brass Quintet),
photography (when I get a chance), amateur radio (a couple times a year),
yard work (I have to consider it a hobby to keep from getting depressed
over it), and--and this is why Jaws has no paint job--wristwatches. In the
past, I raced cars, raced bicycles in college (with total lack of success),
and pursued triathlon (and can provide photographic evidence for those who
look at me now and--with justification--refuse to believe it). I'm also
active at church, currently serving as treasurer.
I've been a member of GMCMI since 2003 or thereabouts, when we bought the
coach, GMCES once upon a time, and the Dixielanders for the last six or
seven years. I try very hard to make Bean Station each year, and any
International rally that is within a day's drive of northern Virginia.
Mansfield last year was the first in a long time.
But I don't think I'll try to list all that behind my name, heh.

I still work full time for the USAF doing contract Oversight on AFSOC's flight simulators. My hobbies are motorcycling, cars, guns and travel. I currently ride a Victory Vision and and my wife rides a Harley trike and we are as active as we can be with our local American Legion Riders (past director) I have always loved GMCs and we look forward to meeting our fellow GMCers and actually going to a rally. We look forward to taking the bikes on trips and getting to ride in different locations. After 26 years of traveling the world courtesy of Uncle Sam we want to see the rest of this great country. I have a small home gun shop and build AR-15s and am still learning gunsmithing. As many of the folks here, I am a car enthusiast, I was previously very active in the Corvette clubs but I kinda dropped out when I moved back to Florida, we still have the 2001 Corvette Z06 though and I love taking her for a spin. The 78 Indy pace car was the inspiration for our GMC's color scheme.

I suppose I'll play along.
I own a wood and metalworking company, so all things associated with that are my interests most of the time. CNC machining, robotics, and process improvements mostly.
On the off time I'm a motorcycle guy more than a car guy (although I've had my share of those as well).
Current stable has been very slimmed down since the GMC purchase (no time for anything else!)
