Im posting this here for Karen who is taking the reservations. I understand this date does conflict with a planned GMC Great Lakers Rally, but for folks who cannot attend that one, maybe this is an option.

I dont have any affiliation other than I am going to try like heck to finish my projects and get to it.

Please email Karen for more information. kbreenbo AT Comcast.net

Arrive No later than 7am. Address is 164 South Blvd West. Pontiac MI Yes, this is Ground Zero for our coaches.

Warren,

I am just not up to driving an hour and more for my morning coffee. That timing would need a Odark30 start for the 0700 call. I am hoping to find an ONP in striking range. I have not yet. I am working on one.
The park that Karen suggested on FB is a 40 min drive away and 34$ - No Thank You.
The Pontiac Lake Park is closer, but still not great. There is no near by Walmart.
I was hoping someone would say we could ONP at the event. That would work great for us. Maybe even set up a pot luck for the night before.

If I do better, I will let you know.

Matt

Car and Driver magazine sponsors "Cars and Coffee" one Saturday each month during the summer at the new M1 Concourse racetrack in downtown Pontiac, Michigan. I am gathering a list for inclusion in this event on Saturday, June 10th from 8am to 11am (we will need to meet there at 7:00am in order to be showcased on the "skid pad."

Here is a link to the flyer (PDF also attached).

As far as a schedule for the day's events...there isn't one. People just show up with their exotic, muscle, rice cookers, beaters... and just walk around. There are some YouTube videos that people have made of last year's C+C events. The M1 track has only been open officially since August. Here are a couple of informational videos:

I will confirm your spot via return email. I will also be doing press releases to the local media. Email kbreenbo AT comcast (dot) net and include:

Attendees' names
Full address
Phone(s)
GMC year and model

I'm happy to answer any questions you may have.
