Every time I've pulled the trans. I also was changing the FD at the same time. Seems to me that it should be simpler not pulling FD. Bob Dunahugh

I have done it both ways. Leaving the FD in the coach is much easier and quicker.

Bob, sometimes I'm slow to catch on to simple abbreviations. What is the
"FD?"

Thanks,
Vern

It is easier as you don’t have to remove the axles. Just be careful that you don’t mess up the gasket between the transmission and the final drive when pulling up the transmission.

Yeah Billy. We have lost too many great GMC'rs over the years and will lose more in the coming years. With the GMC owners age profile there is no getting around it. HOWEVER we don't need to lose any before their time.

Get well soon. Listen to the Docs and PT persons. Do just what they say. No more, no less.
