Someone dropped one of those large round hay bails on I-40. By the time we got there it had mostly unrolled across both lanes. Hit it square. We must have looked like a hula dancer for a mile or so. Got off the next exit and had very reduced braking. Front discs were packed with hay. Took a few minutes to pick it all out of the wheels. Stops OK now.

Mufflers were clear, I guess?
I once straddled one of those thin dry-cleaning bags with a COE truck while doing about 60 mph. In very short order, the water temp skyrocketed and I blew the top hose. You guessed it ...the bag was sucked up in front of the radiator and positioned itself to completely cover the vanes.

Single muffler in rear. Although we did smell some cooked hay. Pulled off at next exit to check things over.
Had a similar bag stick on the vettes cat converter. Smelled that for a lot of miles.

I hit something in the middle of the night in my '71 Mustang Mach 1 driving
from Houston to San Diego looked at all the gages and all was OK so I kept
on going.
A few miles down the road I could swear I smelled cookies! I pulled over and
noted oats all over the engine with a bunch on the exhaust manifolds.
Headed down the road and caught up with a truck that was loosing it's load
of bas of oats.
