well I'm an idiot.
last fall I removed the battery cable from the generator to the circuit breaker then to the charger.
The end was bad and it needed replacing. oops

hard to charge batteries with 12" of battery cable missing.

Don't feel too bad.
I was using my cell phone when it beeped and a message said "Plug in to a charger".
I have one on a desk so I plugged in.
Went to use the cell phone next day and the battery was dead.
The charger wasn't plugged in.
That should be in the instructions...No?... Very Happy

Those are inductive not wireless though. Wireless means multiple feet of separation, like across the room.
