The major vendor of the Heathen Chinee stuff is having a Parking Lot Sale Friday through Sunday, 10 - 12 March. Two items are of interest to GMCers. The 7KW generator set which will fit in a 23' is down to $500 even. Works great, isn't as quiet as the Onan - and probably won't last as many hours, but if you use it for on the road A/C and the very occasional no hookup site, it's perfect. Installation will cost maybe 50 bux for a pulse pump, some Kendorf, and a bit of hose, and another 25 for a split bus power panel.
The cheap half inch electric impact wrench is down to $37. Don't be looking t6o bolt propellers on airplanes with this one, but it's a time and ache saver for lug nuts, wheel and axle bolts, and the like. Suitable to remove and replace a rear spindle by actual test - it was worth the $40 I gave for it for that alone.
They got other stuff in the flyer, but I can attest to these two. They're worthwhile. I use my 50 amp extension cord to backfeed a 220 plug in the house for power failures. <THIS DOES NOT MEET ANYBODY"S CODE> However it isn't greatly expensive to wire in a manual switch and cord to run your house from the coach during power outages.
