New radio for my 2005 HOnda CRV was $!400.
Went online and foud one for $170. I think it was a factory second, and
had been dropped, as it had a bent corner. New radio warrantee, and it
worked fine.

What really PO'd me was the radio can't handle a power failure. It sits
there grinding away for the past 9 years now dispaying CD Error. Dealer
says they can fix it for $1000.
