And YES. I should have known that after 14 years of owning one. We've put about 4,000 miles on it last year. So now I put a new A/C compressor in, aluminum intake manifold, fixed the floor. Now get ready for the EFI, get LP gauge working, replace a 20,000 mile working transmission. REALLY? New relay arm, idler arm, aluminum 3 battery tray, heater core that doesn't leak ( yet ), axillary vacuum pump, and a partridge in a Parr tree. It's a hobby. RIGHT. But I must admit that it's been fun. And getting great input from many of you. But in reality. These GMC's at their worse. Don't cost much in comparison to some of the newer SOB's ( Some Other Brand's ) to keep on the road. Then there's the joy of owning one. And the club rallies. This has been priceless for Linda, and myself. Bob Dunahugh

Perseverance is supposed to be a positive quality Bob, not an addiction.
(Grin) Besides, what else would you do with your time and disposable
income. After Mary died, all I had left that I could control
mentally was immersed in GMC's. Both working on them, and interacting with
this great community that has become more like family than friendly coach
owners. Just the way it is.
