Anyone have any experience with this Garmin GPS with wireless rear-view camera? Good? Bad?
Any other GPS units with with back up camera recommended?
Thanks

I bought one last year. Works good. I mounted the camera inside at the top of the window using a little custom bracket. Still haven't wired in place just plugged it into the 12v socket.

New Garmin model RV 770 coming on line within the month. I would wait, unless you are getting a 'steal' price on the 760.
I intend to get this one when local dealer has it in stock.
Friends do not let friends buy a Magellan GPS - of the many GPS's that I have owned, this is the most hated of all.

I have had the Garmin RV 760 with wireless back up camera installed for about three years. The GPS works great but I have it set to automotive mode because in RV mode it restricts access to some roads. As for the camera it is just OK, the resolution is only fair but does give adequate guidance for backing up. I have wired rear view camera and a wired backup camera that works much better than the Garmin wireless.

I was going to aquire the garman unit, but now not sure.
Is there a good wireless back-up camera out there? I see lots on Aliexpess. Not sure of the quality. I was thinking a wired one, just to be safe.
Thanks for all the info on this site. Lots of good info. Hope I will be able to assist anyone in the future.
Just purchased my coach 2 months ago.

Graham,
Welcome to the group, family, cult, asylum....
It seems I missed that post several months back when first posted and you never came back to announce that you were a new owner the way that most do. Fortunately, that does not matter very much here. We know you are here and that is what matters.
Do not fear that you not will be aiding others until you have more experience with your coach. I am kind of an odd-man-out here in that I arrived about ten years ago with no idea what the community had to offer, but I am a refugee from engine and other automotive testing so I know engines very well. Once you get to the hotel functions, it is just like a boat, so I was set there as well. But that still left me dealing with all of the "type specific" strangeness of the TZE (of that there is plenty) that this group has arms so well around. I never felt lost or alone.
It may come that You feel overwhelmed by some issues, but we all have been there. We asked for at least advice and the response has always been rewarding. Time will come that you can return your experience to the group. And it will be a rewarding thing for all of us.
To this end, please do up a sigfile with name (we got that), a short about the coach (like you did) and Nanaimo, BC (like you did), but including it as a sigfile will make it always there. Why do we do this? We like to know who we are talking to when we meet, there are differences between versions and upgrades that can matter a lot, and it is neat to know if someone we might assist is in range. There is a lot of wonder stuff that happens here. The place to do this is in Control Panel/Account Settings. Scroll down to find the place for a sigfile and then remember to scroll down to "Update".
It took me a while to recognize that this community is so much like that of the watermen that are my world, by that I mean that assistance when required is a given. The community support is awesome in the true sense of the word. I was fortunate enough to realize what was here early on. For that reason, I have taken to welcoming new owners much as any new owner or vessel is welcomed there. So,
May the Good Lord bless this coach and all those that set forth within her.
Welcome Graham

Most wired cameras have better resolution than the inexpensive wireless backup cameras. Maybe JimG will pipe in with his wireless backup camera experience several years ago at Bean Station. Nothing like backing up and seeing out of someone else's rear view camera.
