The only time I needed one of those, about 5 years ago, it was an in stock item at my local Autozone. I do not think they are very rare and I do not remember them being expensive.

Go to your parts store and ask for part# 30-1873 cardone Dist. Not expensive at a little of $110.

Yes, you can get the distributor, but getting a wire harness is the problem.
They can be acquired if you pay big price.
We have one we sell to people that cannot locate one.
