I just received a telephone call from Paul's son. He stated that Paul died Saturday night. He will post additional details later today on a web site that we can look at. As soon as I get the site URL, I will post it.

His funeral will be Thursday. I have no additional details at this time.

Here is the web site that Paul's son gave me. He stated that he would update what is here later in the day.

I last talked on the phone with Paul in September. I should have arranged more time when in Michigan to see him. I was only 50 miles away.

He will be missed.

He managed to show up for our Saturday GMC lunch, and those that knew him were glad to see him the others were glad to meet him. He had his Cadillac book with him and was part of the good time.

It's been too long since I talked to Paul. When he was missing from GMCMI
Mansfield, I knew I should call soon. I'll forever regret that
procrastination. He was truly a great friend.

I got a call from Paul in September. We talked about his house and his Cadillac 500 book that he hoped to post somewhere. I know that I will miss him.

Oh no! This is horrible news! Paul was a great guy and a great writer. He
knew his way around a GMC, too. I met him at a Montgomery, Texas rally many
years ago. We've known him on GMCnet since 1998.

A true GMCer. One of the best. My sincere condolences to Josie and the
family.

I was suppose to go to the GMC lunch in Detroit last Saturday with Paul. I drove to his house in Kalamazoo on Saturday. I was not feeling well so I returned home after spending only about 5 to 10 minutes at his house. Paul continued on to the lunch in Detroit without me. Now I wish I had gone with him no matter how bad I felt at the time.

Now I'm bummed that I had to miss the GMC Lunch last Saturday. I hadn't seen Paul in many years, but he was one of the first GMCers I met when I got my coach in 2003. It would have been great to see him one last time. RIP

Wow, I was just exchanging e-mails with Paul last week talking about our
various health issues. He did say his cancer was treatable
but not curable. I didn't realize how true that really was. Our sympathies
go out to Josie and the family.

Terrible news. Paul was the first GMCnetter that I met. He reached out
to me shortly after I started the email list. His business travels
brought him to Georgia and we had a nice lunch and talked GMCs.

He will be greatly missed.

Paul was one of the first GMC'rs that I met, I was headed to Grand Rapids
for a meeting, and we went to Gun Lake for a GMC meetup in his Impala SS.
We exchanged GMC tips and e-mails for several years. Sad to hear of his
passing, but he leaves behind many happy memories.
