Evening all,
Recently replaced my tranny and didn't change to 3/8 lines, Has anyone with a temp gauge seen a major difference when they went to 3/8 from the stock 5/16. The PO of my coach took the lines off the radiator cooler and just ran through, what I think is suppose to be a good cooler, a tru-cool LPD 4590. I pulled the 3000# towd this weekend and the temp gauge which is on the return line got above 200 a few times in stop and go and slight hill climbing, forgot to downshift at 40mph, forgot to turn on the aux fan. I'm running 3.7 gears with those big dodge rims and tires to match which bring it down to the same as a 3.55 FD at the ground, according the RPM and speedo numbers. On the bright side the towd pulled real good. Any thoughts out there.

I have had best results with running both thr adiator cooler and the external unit on the return side. That is, unless the radiator cooling is marginal

Forgot to mention I run a 180 thermostat in the motor and is usually spot on at 180, if that would help with running through radiator first.
