I want to put the Onan from the burned GMC into our restored one. As one has 326 hours on it. The other has 1087 hours. I've put a lifting eye in the threaded lift point. Put an electrical plug in for the Onan white wires to the inside remote controls. I need to pull the battery wire off the starter. So are there stops on the tracks that can be removed to allow the Onan to be removed?

I used the Harbor Frieght engine hoist. The trick is to use a shackle between the hook and eyebolt or the crane hook will not be fully homed in the eyebolt. Thus puts undo stesses on them and is bad rigging practice. Take some weight and remove the 4 ? small bolts from the track to Onan each side. Hard part is the Burndy connections in the 1900 box back in the deep corner.
