We are in Stanwood MI with the Great Lakers. It is cold. I was expecting that.
What I was not expecting was the air heater in our Carrier roof top unit to do the Roman Candle effect.
I can buy propane on site.
Carrier is out of the transport business, a few years now.
Does anybody have a line on someone that may have NOS of the heater?

There are two used Carrier heat strips on eBay, $40 and $50 plus shipping - but you would need to confirm the part number.

On a similar note. Hit 18 deg in SD and just before bed Suburban started blowing only cold. Opened front and that doesn't get you much. Moved stuff under bench away from cold air return (that should not effect sail but may have overtemped) then turned off and back on gas valve and she has been working great since. Poured 2 gal pink down the toilet to mix with maybe a few gal black water and left fresh water normal. All was good.

Dennis,
Thanks,
I only found one used, and I am a little leery as the last one did such a good roman candle display. I am hoping to find NOS or an aftermarket version that has had the weak point corrected.

Dennis,
Thanks,
For some reason, the 50$ part didn't come up in my search.
