We are in Stanwood MI with the Great Lakers. It is cold. I was expecting that.
What I was not expecting was the air heater in our Carrier roof top unit to do the Roman Candle effect.
I can buy propane on site.
Carrier is out of the transport business, a few years now.
Does anybody have a line on someone that may have NOS of the heater?

The nearest "big box store" has cube heaters. I carry two of them and
seldom use the roof air heater because those are quieter and better
located. Plus they cost about 1/2 the a/c heating element.

We use the cube heaters also. Carry two of them in the cooler seasons, but never used more than 1. Even in GA last year when it was below freezing at night and didn't get out of the 30s during the day, we still only needed 1. Works better than the heat strip since they have better temperature control. Of course, we have 2 adults, 3 kids, and a dog or two in the coach, so there is a lot of body heat! But considering we long ago removed the furnace, those cubes have never let us down. We just make sure we are plugged in to 50 amps in case we need both.
Thinking we will test them again coming up when we head to D.C. to honor my wife's grandfather in his Arlington burial. That could be a cold trip!
