After spending many hours with little success that ruins my self esteem, I need a facility/person that understands this vehicle and can fix it. The vehicle was purchased from a salvage facility and ran long enough to carry me from St. Paul, MN to its present location in my son's backyard in Stillwater, MN. If necessary can tow vehicle - with great care.

what is your time table? Maybe I could take a look. I am practiced at electric/starting recently. Just dealt with a 77 Eleganza II. should pull starter, have it rebuilt here in st. cloud for less then $100. install about $50 worth of new battery cables, and then we can see what else it needs.
the eleganza II, did above, Plus put in boost solenoid and isolator. All rocking on the electrical starting side.
give me a call.. six-one-two-nine-six-one-four-one-nine-six.
Maybe drive down and enjoy some call colors on the river and have a look.
