The computer is mounted right on the throttle body. I already had an incidence of having to reboot the computer while out on the road. Although FiTech walked me through it, their support is great, they thought it was a grounding issue and recommended running a ground wire directly from TB to engine block, in the back of my head I think heat because it happened just as the temp dropped precipitously when I ran into a front and rain storm. Anyway has anyone used a manifold with an air gap.
Do you have to pull the plastic fan to change the belt?

The 'Air gap' manifolds [Edelbrock as far as I know] are generally geared more toward higher RPM performance use. They are also signifigantly higher and will likely caude fitment problems with the hatch. For that matter, so will the performer series.
