I have a 1974 Eleganza and would like to swap out my original 46" tank with a smaller DOT tank. All it's necessary for is the stove since my furnace is busted and I won't be replacing that any time soon. Can I use the existing regulator with the DOT or do I need something different? Any other tips before moving forward?
