Ken - I look forward to your findings on a fix for the limited pan flange/housing interface (other than Manny's gasket/sealant fix)...
Emery - I wrapped the housing penetration you described with a shop towel and left it in place for several thousand miles. 'Never any evidence of that as a source of the leakage...
