Murphy Bed. We met a very tall couple who had added a murphy type bed to the back of their trailer. They made a tent type cover that could be lowered that was extended out the back of their trailer. They would lower the tent bed cover and slide their bed support that was 6” long out the back of the trailer. They would add their California King bed mattress (6’ wide X 7’ long). In the morning, they would pull in the mattress and bed support, wind up the cover and place the mattress vertical like all Murphy beds are stored. This would solve how to add more sleeping space to a GMC. Their rear view while traveling was by a camera.
