Well, this sucks .....

I just got confirmation that there is no plan at Garmin's Delome to issue any new version of Street Atlas.
I have not yet found a planning tool that is anything like that powerful.
The chart table is right where it should be, now I just have to find the dividers.

That does suck. Kinda hard to upload massive POI files to Waze.

Wow, tech changes fast. I love the old version I have on my PC. I loaded all the CD data so I could look at anything any time with no internet needed, then print the map. Smart phone tech killed I guess.

I've been looking at alternatives for using custom POI files. Sygic, recommended by RobM, has a clunky option.
https://help.sygic.com/en/sygic-gps-navigation-for-android/tips-tricks/how-to-import-external-custom-poi-to-sygic

Sygic doesn't need the internet or data plan. It's kind of clunky but it works well once you get acclimated to it.
