Does your fuel pump have a recirculating line?(Three lines going to pump) They sometimes recirculate using your vent line. This can fill this line with fuel and when you stop it sloshes back up the line and may leak. You may not see it except under the right circumstance. This setup can also result in slow filling of tanks because vent line may have sags that fill with gas an block proper venting. I had this problem until I installed FI then I recognized what was going on.
