I am replacing my old, leaky, mismatched clearance lights with new self-contained LED lights (GROTE G5052 and G5053).

I cleaned up all the old goo that was sealing the old ones and installed the new ones with nice new foam gaskets.

My question, should that seal up good? Or does one need to put silicone around them still? I would assume the foam should stop the water?

And what about the 2 screw holes on top? Should one plug them somehow or should they be fine? Trying to eliminate water getting in....

Couple pictures...
