I've now dumped the new coach a handful of times and am surprised at how slow it is. 5 minutes in still a slow trickle of water coming out even when starting with a half tank (well what I think is a half tank)

My earlier concerns with a macerator was how slow it is (I've been behind them in line). 95% of the time we dump at the end of an event and get in line to dump. I don't want to be that person and I hate feeling rushed. We have an inaccessible septic tank at home and the nearest dump station (KOA) is $20. I could run a line to the toilet (which really seems gross, is it as bad as I think?)

Anyway, I'm now considering a macerator, two layouts.

One- macerator right up next to the tank, this seems like the most effective place but involves more initial work and I don't know that I can use the backflush that the portable one has.

Two- portable macerator that I would hook onto the existing end, I don't think this would speed up the process and could make it longer but it's easy to try out.

What do you guys use? What do you suggest? The long straight run from the tank to the output is so low there's not much help from gravity.

thanks
