Get a copper washer and see if that will stop the leak. Copper washer should deform enough to seal a small leak. Make sure that the mating surfaces are clean and smooth. Check the drain plug for possible cross threading. Nylon washer may also work, but I'm not sure if it will take the heat. This inexpensive fixes to try first, before rubbing big money on Mr. Onan.
