Thanks Ken for putting that info out. Not super scientific. But beats seat of the pants opinions. Some friends of mine, and I have a Dino. And over the years we've done lots. And I mean lots of oil test that help us make choices for oil types, weights, bearing clearances to use, oil suspension issues in the crankcase, oil pump test involving pressures adjustments for the oil bypass, high vs low volume, and the list goes on from these. And on the old tech engines that we have. The dino oil just came out as the better oil. But only slightly. As to the newer, cleaner engines. Do what the manufacture recommends. The engine that I just pulled out of the burned GMC had 157,000 miles on it. Always had dino oil used in it. Ran a comcompression test on it. All cylinders were between 140 to 145 PSI. My new engine is at 150 to 155 psi. Dino oil seems to have done a good job. Bob Dunahugh
