Wouldn't restart after fueling at Love's, Minden, La last night. Moved to safe parking by pour gas directly into carb.
No 403 pumps available for a couple of days. O'Reilly can get a pump for a 350 this morning.
Question will a 350 pump work on a 403?
As soon as Applied opens I'm calling jK.
Headed west to Austin tx.

George, surely they've got an electric pump in stock. Just mount it ahead
of the Aux tank and power it from the selector valve. Should be hose there
so no plumbing problem.

George,
I just checked RockAuto. They show Carter M6108 for 350 and M6109 (3-line)
for 403. So, yes, the "350" pump will work on the 403. I now recall that
NAPA part numbers are similar -- 1 number different for 2 and 3 line
versions.
Should be able to compare them before installation anyway.

Yes that was going to be my plan "B" if needed.

Thanks Ken.
I'll cap off any "extra" outlets.
Getting ready to pull the pump. Just about finished my coffee.

George,
Unless you plan to eventually route that 3rd line back to the tank for
vapor lock inhibition, try to get the pump without the 3rd line.

George, I use two of the Mr. Gasket rotary pumps - they have built in check valves. Usually blister packed at the parts house. If you get one, >don't use the supplied inoput filter<. It will quickly fail at the joint. Get the Wix replacement and use it.

That was my plan but being on east coast time by the time your shop opened parts were already headed my way.
As a matter of fact I called Thursday night thinking you might be in the office @ 9 PM!
